3. The return of Sajid Khan

After helming the first two installments of the ‘Houseful’ series, the reigns of the third part went into the hands of Sajid-Farhad. Sahid and producer Sajid Nadiadwala were reportedly upset with each other for reasons best known to them. Owing to which the filmmaker said no to directing the third part. Nadiadwala got on board Sajid-Farhad to helm the third part. By the time the two apparently patched up, the film was already being directed by the director duos.

Sajid Khan apparently took to his Twitter handle to clarify all this, by adding that he also regrets rejecting ‘Housefull 3’ as he missed the fun they used to have while shooting for the film.

Now, with the fourth installment, Sajid Khan is back and is all set to take the film a notch up, not to mention the high anticipation amongst his fans!

4. Mega cast

Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Housefull’ series always boasted of an ensemble star cast. With A-list actors like Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty, Boman Irani, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Asin, and others involved, the film never failed to impress its fans.

While Akshay Kumar, Boman Irani, Riteish Deshmukh and Chunky Pandey have been the permanent ones in all the three parts, others keep on changing as per the requirement of the stories and characters.

Apart from the fixed ones, ‘Housefull 4’ will reportedly feature Bobby Deol in the male cast and the female squad would consist of Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, and Pooja Hegde.

5. It is Sajid Khan vs Jacqueline Fernandez

The alleged affair and fall out between Jacqueline Fernandez and Sajid Khan is known to all. After their chapter closed, there has been reportedly no professional and personal connection whatsoever between the two.

After a brief stint by Jacqueline in ‘Housefull 2’, Jacqueline bagged a full-fledged role in ‘Housefull 3’ and it went well as Sajid Khan had refused to be on board for the third installment owing to some issues with the producer and the film was being directed by Sajid-Farhad.

Now, that the director is back with the team, it was more than obvious that the actress could not be a part of the next part of the franchise.
